"Hint of Opulence", contemporary, worn, yellow, chair, print, color photograph

2015

About the Item

Marie Craig's 'Hint of Opulence' is a limited-edition, richly detailed closeup color photograph of a worn mustard yellow velveteen chair. The 24 x 36 inch landscape-orientated photo is part of the artist's chair series of upholstered furniture found by the side of the road, documenting history, memory and transience. An archival digital pigment print, the photograph is mounted on acid-free sintra PVC board and protected with UV-protecting laminate, and stands out 0.75 inches from the wall, allowing for a clean, glass-free, frameless display. Edition of 5. Marie Craig is an award-winning Boston-based contemporary fine art photographer. Craig is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.
