Come Undone: Where do we go from here?
White roses as a symbol for new beginnings. A blank page for the future. A chance to fulfill new potential. But how often should we look for change? And when do we begin to lose consistency? Do we fragment too much if we start fresh every day? We don't stay the same for very long...How do we maintain a balanced middle ground?
Starting with photographic base elements, such as the figure or the landscape, Haider transforms the scenery into a surreal world through heavy post-production. She uses photographs, that in their essence capture something real, to merge these aspects of reality, slowly creating something unreal and imagined, yet familiar in its story - a dreamscape, drawing from the essence underneath the surface. In her work the unspoken finds itself translated into images.
