About the Item
An original contemporary wheat pasted photograph from the artist's series "No Plan for the Future".
This work is hung inside the gallery space at The Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology and a portion of all sales from the exhibition including this piece will go to benefit the Center which offers after school art programming
This particular work is an edition of three, signed and numbered 1 of 3 on the reverse. The work comes framed in an archival frame presentation.
No Plan for the Future began as an engagement with the public via instagram. Mancuso and D’Auria staged America’s iconic foods meeting their bitter end. The series of instagram posts and commentary began just after the 2016 election and eventually manifested into an installation of wheat pasted photography and sculpture. These sugary disasters captured and installed, echo the political climate of uneasiness as well as the role of social media in adding to the dissemination of unrest and misinformation.
