A NYC native, Drew loved Coney Island as a kid; so when he started shooting photographs professionally, naturally he returned to one of his favorite New York locations for several projects.

Dew Carolan: In the early 1980’s Drew Carolan apprenticed with several top photographers including Richard Avedon, Gilles Bensimon and Bruce Weber before starting his own photography business. Soon after he made a transition into directing music videos.
Drew’s photography is also in the permanent collection of the Design Museum of London and his work has hung in museum exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, London, Beijing and Dubai. He has also shown in Paris and extensively in New York and California galleries.
His photographs have appeared in the pages of ROLLING STONE, SPIN, INTERVIEW, NEW YORK TIMES, LA TIMES, VOGUE, GQ and numerous international magazines and books.
