About the Item

"Everyone has a different vision of us because they look at us with their own eyes and not with ours, therefore, what we believe to be our identity is different from what others attribute to us. Even when we look at ourselves in a mirror, we are never spontaneous because we pose to see ourselves as we believe others see us. So how do other people view us? Is technology perhaps the neutral eye that is capable of recognizing us by our characteristics without being influenced by prejudices? By analyzing our shape, our desires, our thoughts, does it know us better than ourselves? This project was born from the search for these answers." - Maurizio Sapia about the concept behind his series „Signs of Identity“
