2021
About the Item
Billionaires' Row skyscrapers shimmer in a rich golden light with later afternoon rainbow. The warm colors of the Central Park South skyline are offset by the vibrant green of the great lawn. It acts as a counterpoint to the buildings. At the end of the rainbow lies a lot of golden buildings. This is one of the most appropriate places for a rainbow to end. The pot of gold is the billions in ritzy New York City condos. Signed dated and numbered 2/15 lower right recto, other sizes available, printed later, unframed. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper

- 'Sombras Doradas (5)' Large Scale Photo, Desert Silhouette Sunset Yellow GoldBy Sophia MilliganLocated in Penzance, GB'Sombras Doradas (2)' Limited edition archival photograph. Unframed, hand signed and numbered _________________ Shadows painted on the finca wall: low December sun, golden, luminous, casting soft silhouettes through the aperture of the Eucalyptus leaves. Sophia's poetic photographs are an exploration of the balance in all things: in the sensual interplay of light and shadow; in wild raw energy and serene stillness; in the enduring and the effervescent. They are a contemplation of the awareness that everything in existence is temporary, they speak of the ephemeral nature of all things. Moments, feelings, experiences cherished and appreciated in their impermanence, for that is where the beauty comes from. 'I work with time, and the immeasurable spaces of experience within... tangible traces, evidence left behind, records; process in action, stilled'. 40 x 60 inches Limited edition of 25 Archival Print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper, one of the most beautiful and high quality art papers available.
