Nature's beauty is on full display right smack in the middle of Manhattan but there is more.
A single black dog is the central point of focus framed by beautiful autumn foliage.
The image is somewhat hypnotic. The viewer is not sure what way the dog is looking.
Is the dog looking at me or is he looking away,
Combine that with a two-point perspective road vanishing to a horizon, the image is beautiful and simultaneously thought-provoking.
Signed dated and numbered 3/15 lower right recto, other sizes available, unframed, printed late on Hahnemuhle paper
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Mitchell Funk
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of color photography. In 1970, he participated in one of the first color photography shows at the Brooklyn Museum titled “Images en Couleur." In 1971, he was included in the visionary books Frontiers of Photography and Color (Life Library of Photography), both published by Time-Life. He has done more than 50 photography magazine covers, including covers for Newsweek and Life.
