The city skyline encompasses the horizon with the skyscrapers glowing a yellow orange from the light of the sunset. Clouds float over New York as the day transitions into night. This urban setting never fails to impress as it is juxtaposed between sky and water.

Artist Biography:
William brings many years of creative experience to the table. He possesses an MFA in Cinematography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. His studies have taken him around the world. In the summer of 2008 he studied at the prestigious Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the fifth oldest film school in the world. An ethereal scene, a thick fog rolls through the Bay Area landscape allowing only the very tip of San Francisco's Sutro Tower to peak through the clouds. The color palette is a gradient of purple, peachy pink, and soft blue which gives this work a very calming and peaceful quality.

Artist Commentary:
I took this shot from the opposite side of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands. There is a great trail that leads to Slacker Hill. The trail is 3/4 of a mile straight up to the top of a hill that overlooks the Golden Gate and the surrounding bay area.
