About the artist
Linda Rosewall’s artistic path was cemented during her childhood. She was inspired by her farther, an accomplished musician and composer who raised his six children as a performing family act.
The experience of traveling the United States and Canada in a small airplane piloted by her father provided the opportunity for Linda to capture these moments on her small Kodak Instamatic Camera.
At the age of 18, she enrolled at Columbia College of Fine Arts Chicago. During her studies, Linda apprenticed under photographer Norman Bilisko and later worked with Dennis Manarchy...

Featuring Australian actress Radha Mitchell.
Living and working in Los Angeles and Berlin, Stefanie Schneider's scintillating situations take place in the American West. Situated on the verge of an elusive super-reality, her photographic sequences provide the ambience for loosely woven story lines and a cast of phantasmic characters.
Schneider works with the chemical mutations of expired Polaroid film stock. Chemical explosions of color spreading across the surfaces undermine the photograph's commitment to reality and induce her characters into trance-like dreamscapes. Like flickering sequences of old road movies Schneider's images seem to evaporate before conclusions can be made - their ephemeral reality manifesting in subtle gestures and mysterious motives. Schneider's images refuse to succumb to reality, they keep alive the confusions of dream, desire, fact, and fiction.
Stefanie Schneider received her MFA in Communication Design at the Folkwang Schule Essen, Germany. Her work has been shown at the Museum for Photography, Braunschweig, Museum für Kommunikation, Berlin, the Institut für Neue Medien, Frankfurt, the Nassauischer Kunstverein, Wiesbaden, Kunstverein Bielefeld, Museum für Moderne Kunst Passau, Les Rencontres d'Arles, Foto -Triennale Esslingen.
“It was Stefanie Schneider, who inspired me to start the company THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT after seeing her work, which seems to achieve the possible from the impossible, creating the finest of art out of the most basic of mediums and materials. Indeed, after that one day, I was so impressed with her photography that I realized Polaroid film could not be allowed to disappear. Being at the precise moment in time where the world was about to lose Polaroid, I seized the moment and have put all my efforts and passion into saving Polaroid film. Man Ray is considered a representative of Dadaism and Surrealism. He was born in Philadelphia in 1890. Man Ray was active as a painter, object artist, photographer and film director. His art assemblages deal with questions about the unconscious, the apparent and the mythical. What is present behind what is represented or not is Ray's preoccupation in conceiving his experiments with different materials and techniques. He has his first solo exhibition at the Daniel Gallery in New York. Together with Marcel Duchamp he founded the DADA group in New York. In 1921 Ray moved to Paris, where he worked in the Montparnasse environment with artists such as Dalí, Ernst, Matisse, Miró, Mondrian and Tanguy. In 1922 there is a split in Paris between the Dadaists and the Surrealists. Man Ray joins the co-founders of Surrealism. National Socialism, which also showed its effects in Paris in the late 1930s, prompted the Jewish artist to decide to leave the country. After a major appearance at Georges Wildenstein's Beaux-Arts Gallery in Paris in the exhibition "Exposition Internationale du Surrealisme", he fled to New York via Spain and Portugal. After the Second World War, he brought the artistic collection he had left in Paris to the USA. As he could not enjoy the success and prestige in America that he had enjoyed in Paris, he returned to Paris in 1951. In 1958, the artist took part in the exhibition "Dada. Documents of a Movement" at the Kunstverein Düsseldorf and in the large Dada exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. His first major retrospective is shown at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 1966. Man Ray died in Paris in 1976, leaving behind the "Man Ray Trust", a foundation established by his widow.
