Ceccarini offers the artists the opportunity to collaborate with some of the very best models he has worked with throughout his career to create an array of spectacular images. The Artist brings his own creative universe, techniques and palette, the Model their personality and body language. The model and artist interaction is key to the process. The temporary nature of the painting on human skin is captured and immortalized through Ceccarini’s lens to create the photographic artwork. Eric sets himself apart from others by shunning technical artifice and working in natural light, outside the studio. This results in soft, velvety, almost painterly images that amaze. Eric is a Belgian artist born in 1965. He gained a degree in photography from infac, Brussels in 1987, and has since then been a fashion photographer working with many of the top houses. Chopard, Elle, Marie-Claire, L’Oréal, Levi’s, Coca Cola, Virgin, Saab, Delvaux, Lowe Lintas and Ogilvy are just some of Ceccarini’s high-profile clients. About the artist : Byron Newman (born in London, England, United Kingdom) is a British photographer. He has been a photographer for over 25 years. Most of the years in partnership with French actress Brigitte Ariel, his producer, stylist, muse and also his wife. Newman started out studying graphic design and photography at the London College of Printing. Afterwards, he interviewed and photographed musicians for Cream magazine in the 1960s and 1970s. He started his own fashion magazine Deluxe in 1977. From that experience he was offered a job in Paris as the art director with Mode International. Once there he also started working for LUI magazine where he was a staff photographer. Whilst there he met Brigitte Ariel. Playboy In 1982, whilst Newman and Ariel were in Hollywood on promoting her latest film, Hugh Hefner got in touch and met them at the Playboy Mansion. Byron has photographed for Playboy magazine, assisted by Brigitte, in the United States since 1984. His photographs appear in Playboy magazine and also are for the Playboy Special Editions. He has also photographed for Playboy's other foreign editions including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, Mexico, South Africa, Croatia etc. During the time Byron has worked for them, he has photographed some of Britain's top glamour models including Samantha Fox, Katie Price aka Jordan, Jessica-Jane Clement, Marina Baker (whom he had discovered and photographed for her Miss March 1987 pictorial), and 2006 Playboy Special Edition model of the year Louise Glover. As a contemporary artist, I work with the female nude and portraiture, so I was enthusiastic when the Rembrandt House approached me to create a new series inspired by Rembrandt’s nudes. His incredible drawings and etchings show not only amazing technique and individuality, but also a sublime mastery of light, shadow and composition. His strong light-dark contrasts and his bold compositions, engaging costumes and draperies, resulted in powerful visual images. His models, portrayed from life, with their own personalities and bodies, not adjusted to fashion and ideals, were striking in their day, and have remained so into the present. Rembrandt’s nudes inspired me to create new works in which I have been able to capture magical moments in new works of art.
