Pop Art for the twenty-first century, ‘Madonna (True Blue)’ depicts the illustrious singer in all her 80s glory – red lips and thick eyebrows; iconic crucifix necklace; and bright, MTV logo, to boot. Using a flat palette of primary colours (think archetypal Alex Katz), Agent X commemorates the icon of a generation, in this pitch-perfect homage.
Agent X, cultural explorer and agent of the unknown, creates experimental,
multimedia collages, paintings, and 2D artwork. Described as ‘Pop Art with thought,’
Agent X juxtaposes pop culture, technology, fashion, and music in visually complex
amalgamations expressing the anxieties of the global, post-modern world and the
dark side of consumerist, media-obsessed culture. His work occupies a unique
intersection between the aesthetics and philosophy of Futurism, the social critique of
the Dada movement, and contemporary artistic movements ranging from Pop Art to

Agent X
Agent X, cultural explorer and agent of the unknown, is an emerging artist who creates experimental, multimedia collages, paintings and 2D artwork. Described as Pop Art with thought, X juxtaposes pop culture, technology, fashion and music in visually complex images expressing the anxieties of the global, post-modern world and the dark side of consumerist, media-obsessed culture. X’s work occupies a unique intersection between the aesthetics and philosophy of Futurism, the social critique of the Dada movement and contemporary artistic movements ranging from Pop Art to Super-flat. The cultural issues of racism, sexism, power, money and the urban environment are common themes found in his work. The chaotic style in X’s pieces reflect his passionate feelings of these relevant issues. Based in Vancouver, Agent X grew up in Connecticut and studied in New Haven and Atlanta. X was the top recipient at the Curious Duke Curious Pie Show and he has been a finalist in numerous prestigious art contests. X’s work has been exhibited in art meccas all around the world, including London, New York, Singapore, San Francisco, Spain, Amsterdam and Toronto.

By The Night is a limited edition giclee print on hahnemuhle 310gsm etching paper with hand torn edges by Carne Griffiths. The bright colours contrast the stark black background to create an impactful piece.
Originally from Liverpool, Griffiths graduated from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Maidstone in 1995. After completing a one-year KIAD fellowship and moving to London he served an apprenticeship at the longest-established gold wire embroidery firm in the world. Here he worked as a gold wire embroidery designer for twelve years, eventually becoming the creative director. Carne produced intricate designs for the military and the film, theatre, fashion and advertising industries. His designs were used for the uniforms in the films Valkyrie, The Last King of Scotland...
