ABOUT THIS PIECE: Alberto practices high speed photography. He has mastered the balance of pouring varnish into water and using his high speed photography knowledge to capture the movement of the colored pigment through water.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Alberto's passion for graphic arts started in the 90's from a fascination of skate decks and metal band CD covers. He used his computer as his creative voice to create his own art. He now works as a freelancer in Sardinia-Italy for small, medium and big agencies.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

In his Gravity Liquid series, Janiak creates visual representations of the idea that form cannot exist without an environment. There are the visible forms we see in the world, and then there are the conditions that allow those forms to exist. As a catalyst for his exploration of this topic, Janiak chose gravity, one of the most ubiquitous and easily observable forces, and the one that allows so many forms in the physical universe to exist. The photographs in these series show two types of matter—liquids and gasses—being manipulated by gravity. Form is frozen by the photographic process, but the process is ever changing depending on the shifting conditions of their environment.
