Anne Youkeles Gemini, ca. 1969 Three-dimensional mixed media silkscreen on folded sheets of thin card Hand-signed by artist in pencil, titled and annotated Artist's Proof I from the edition of 100 on the front on thin card printed metallic silver Frame included - held in vintage period metal frame Anne Youkeles was discovered early on by the renowned gallerist Marion Locks and was known for her beautiful geometric abstractions. In a 2015 interview, she said, "My prints, paintings, and paper works have always incorporated elements of sculpture through the use of folded canvas and paper. " This is a rare late 1960s three-dimensional silkscreen on folded sheets of thin card, signed in pencil titled and inscribed Artist's Proof I from the edition of 100 (on the front) on thin card printed metallic silver. Measurements: Framed: 28 x 28 x 1/2 inches Artwork: 27 1/4 x 27 1/4 inches
