Sita is an artwork realized by Arthur Greuell mid-20th century. Woddcut print, 6 x 6,5 cm.  It includes passepartout. Good conditions! Arthur Greuell (1891-1966) was a Belgian artist known for his portraits, landscapes, and legendary scenes. He was born in Wildbad, Belgium, and studied at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Brussels from 1905 to 1909. In 1913-1914, he continued his studies in Paris with Louis Anquetin, a prominent French artist of the time.After returning to Belgium, Arthur devoted himself to illustration and participated in the exhibition of contemporary lithography at the Bibliothèque royale of Brussels in 1931. He moved permanently to Paris in 1932, where he continued to work and exhibit his art at the Salon d'Automne and Salon des Tuileries. His work was also exhibited in cities such as Philadelphia, Los Angeles, The Hague, Berne, Warsaw, and Prague. Arthur's art captured a wide range of subjects, including portraits of dancers, actresses, and musicians, as well as landscapes of Provence, Andalusia, and Venice.He was particularly known for his legendary scenes and chivalric themes, which were depicted with great attention to detail and rich color.We have created a website to showcase Arthur Greuell's art and provide information on his life and career.
