The Marlborough Godard Gallery was established in 1972 as a partnership between the international Marlborough Gallery and Canadian art dealer Mira Godard. Located on Hazelton Avenue in Toronto's Yorkville neighborhood, the gallery quickly became a significant venue for both Canadian and international contemporary art. It hosted exhibitions featuring prominent artists such as Henry Moore, Alex Colville, and Christopher Pratt. The collaboration between Marlborough and Godard lasted until 1977, after which the gallery was renamed the Mira Godard Gallery, continuing its operations at the same location.
