Composition is a beautiful etching aquatint and drypoint on paper, realized by the artist Isaac Celnikier.
Titled, numbered and signed in pencil on the lower margin. Edition of 40 prints.
Representing an abstract composition, this modern original print shows a full mastery of this artistic medium, is in excellent conditions, except for a light fold on the lower margin.
Isaac Celnikier (Warsaw, 1923 - Ivry-sur-Seine 2011)
Isaac Celnikier is a painter and printmaker who survived the massacres of the Bialystok ghetto and Birkenau camp, which dedicated many of his works to his Holocaust experience. After the Second World War, he attended monumental art classes with Emile Filla Czech avant-garde painter. He then returns to Warsaw and creates the group Arsenal. He settled in France in 1957.
