The NV series of unique, one-off, relief prints find their origin in his videos of flashing lights found in city centres at night. Jonathan says: “My work draws upon journeys, on the interplay between the experience and memory of places with a hidden history. The initial stage of my creative process is to make video-walks, I then base my paintings and prints on the videos – seemingly abstract, but with a basis in the seen world. My goal is that my pieces transcend particular places and become spaces in which to lose oneself. They explore the importance of quiet contemplation in a chaotic world.” Jonathan Moss exhibits his work internationally and in the UK.

  • Sailing at Blakeney Point, Contemporary Linocut Seascape Print, Sailing Boat Art
    By Joanna Padfield
    Located in Deddington, GB
Sailing at Blakeney Point is inspired by summer sailing trips from Morston to Blakeney Point in North Norfolk. In the foreground are flowers and plants typically found along the marches of the Norfolk coast. A Sailing barge is sailing back towards Morston and Blakeney Point can be seen in the distance . Jo Padfield, printmaker and artist, is available for sale online and in our gallery at Wychwood Art. Jo Padfield is an artist based in rural Norfolk - I love the natural world and my work celebrates nature and the natural environment, using bright vibrant colours and bold eye catching shapes and patterns. After studying at Norwich School of Art I went on to study and work in architecture. As my path in design continued, I have developed my love of colour and graphics in print making to create linocut prints. I like the process of cutting fresh lino with sharp tools and the anticipation of peeling paper off an inked block...
