Inspired by the warm light, open vistas, and saturated colors of her birthplace (Southern California), Julianna Goodman’s collages often distill memories of nature and sun into abstract compositions informed by both. Her work plays with the balance and interplay between analog and digital forms. Both traditional and digital media are utilized in the creation of her work.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Julianna Goodman is an artist, graphic designer, and art director, living in Southern California. In her studio practice as a graphic designer + art director, Goodman has worked with a wide range of companies, including: Apple, Cole Haan, DVF, 1stDibs, Heartwork, J.Crew, kate spade new york, MoMA, The Knights NYC, SYPartners and Tiny Atlas Quarterly, among others, on branding-related projects. She is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

Recently graduated from Pasadena’s legendary Art Center College of Design, Tom Baldwin created the series of inkjet prints Japanese Gardens in 1996 on his computer, using then-nascent graphics technology to "paint" his images on the computer screen. Baldwin embraced this technology and its accompanying printing process not just for the speed and ease of their use, but because the artist could achieve the absolute flatness that the principles of modernism preached but ultimately--because of the limitations of their tools--never reached. These colorful, semi-abstracted views of Japanese temple landscapes subtly, but radically redefine picture space. Baldwin shifts fore and backgrounds, giving equal weight to skies and hillsides. Endowing a lowly bush with a vibrant purple or orange might cause it to pop out of proportion, but ultimately lends balance and stability to the work itself, in short, returning the composition to its original, harmonious whole in keeping with the subject matter. these original prints employ a color scheme that seems more reminiscent of 1980s Japanese pop art beer advertisements...

In Dreams is part of my newest series of mixed media works. I meticulously hand cut from vintage paper. The work is collage, watercolor and thread on heavy weight paper, with archival adhesive. It is matted with an archival matte and backing but will require a frame for display. Artwork dimensions: 6(h) x 6(w) Matte dimensions: 10(h) x 10(w)
About the Artist
John’s meticulous collages are crafted from vintage materials such as old textbooks, magazines, found paper, and even embroidery. The resulting images exist in another world characterized by a magical, cinematic quality. Each piece creates a unique story that teeters on the edges of surrealism and science fiction. The viewer is left contemplating the relationship between the shapes and figures in the scenes. John’s collages are further marked by their clean aesthetics and precise execution. He is based in New York, where he is the Director of Visual Arts & Exhibitions at View Arts in the Adirondack Mountains.
