Justin Pollmann "Garden Trick" 2024 Inkjet Transfer Collage, Monotype 27"x19" inches The inkjet transfer images are made by collaging transfers of inkjet prints to the paper’s surface using a burnishing transfer process. The image comes together through a series of multiple layers, some have up to 40 layers. This print is a monotype and does not have editions. About the artist Justin Pollmann is a Brooklyn, NY based artist. Pollmann earned his BFA in Printmaking from Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, MO in 1997. Artist statement I have always been drawn to relationships, person to person or between a person and things. The emotional and mental space that makes up these exchanges is a fascinating part of the human experience. My current focus is trying to illustrate these connections of relationships by tapping into the ephemeral feel of a conversation, a passing communication/connection between people, places, and time.

Abstract (Edition 24/75) By Bram van Velde (1895-1981) Signed and Numbered Bottom Center Without Frame: 37" x 24" With Frame: 37.75" x 24.75" Bram (Abraham Gerardus) van Velde was a Dutch painter known for an intensely colored and geometric semi-representational painting style related to Tachisme*, and Lyrical Abstraction*. He is often seen as member of the School of Paris* but his work resides somewhere between expressionism* and surrealism*, and evolved in the 1960s into an expressive abstract art. His paintings from the 1950s are similar to the contemporary work of Matisse, Picasso and the abstract expressionist Adolph Gottlieb. He was championed by a number of French-speaking writers, including Samuel Beckett and the poet André du...

The Palms #2 (Abstract painting)
By Robert Baribeau
Located in London, GB
The Palms #2 (Abstract painting) Charcoal on paper - Unframed. Baribeau constructs his paintings layer upon layer, building color, form and texture into viscous, impasto compositions, on supports that are themselves often thick, and even sculptural. He scratches and scrawls across his surfaces, infusing visceral emotion and energy into the work. His imagery is so layered and dimensional that even his works on paper convey a sense of texture and depth. Critics have connected Baribeau to a range of aesthetic positions, including everything from Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art to the 19th century Hudson River School, and compared him variously to the likes of Robert Rauschenberg, Joan Mitchell, Cy Twombly, and Willem de Kooning. In truth, Baribeau employs a distinctive aesthetic voice that is personal and instantly recognizable, despite its multiplicity. His visual world is one where primordial, organic nature collides with the geometric, manufactured world, and where certain signature visual cues, such as black and white stripes, checkerboards, dots, and flashes of neon color appear and disappear. His work is included in several institutional collections, including those of the Neuberger Museum, Purchase, NY; Morgan Stanley...
