About
Acromy I is from Laura Iniesta's "DIALOGUES" series which is inspired by the visual effect created by the sun's rays reflected on sea water - there are natural glitters and reflections. In these works Laura chose to use aluminium as support. Aluminium is a noble material that allows the colors to manifest and develop on it, Laura purposely left some parts unpainted, it produces a very interesting effect adding to the raw, bold and direct feel.
There is a subtle dialogue between these works, as they all come from the inspiration of the sun and the sea.
The edition size is 5. The base colors are giclee-printed on aluminium panels, each one is then hand-painted and hand-finished by Laura. The painting is mounted on a wood frame and is ready for the wall.
BIOGRAPHY OF LAURA INIESTA
Laura Iniesta is a native of Barcelona, she studied art there where her first exhibitions were held. Laura has exhibited and lived for a long time in South America during which she was influenced by the tropical exuberance and this experience is reflected in her creative style.
Laura set up her studio after returning to Barcelona, and from there she worked for exhibitions and projects at national and international level. Laura’s artworks are gestural, raw, bold and direct with great visual impact and sense of balance. Her works possess a huge aesthetic strength and enormous capacity to move the viewers, leading them usually into deep ponder and amazes.
