About the Artist:
Born in Parrott, Georgia, Lewis Lee Tilley was a leading figure in American Modernism. Educated at the University of Georgia and mentored by Boardman Robinson at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Tilley’s career spanned painting, printmaking, and design. He also earned an MFA in Mexico and contributed to publications including American Home, Architectural Forum, and Leica Photography, leaving a lasting impact on mid-century American art.
This limited edition lithograph exemplifies Tilley’s bold, color-driven abstraction and remains a rare collectible of his modernist oeuvre.
