Marco Tirelli was born in 1956 in Rome, where he lives and works. He started exhibiting already in the second half of the seventies. His first participation in the Venice Biennale was in 1982, in the Aperto 82 section with a personal room. The group exhibitions in Italy and abroad followed numerous in the eighties, we remember some: at the PAC in Milan and the XI Quadriennale in Rome in 1986; From the return to order to the reference to painting 1920-1987, traveling exhibition hosted by the Kunsternes Hus in Oslo, from the Anteniim Taideemusee in Helsinki, from the Matildenhöhe in Darmstadt and finally from the Kunsthalle in Bielefeld in 1987; from the GAM in Bologna in 1988; Diptych, Aspects of Abstract and Figurative Art in Italy, itinerant exhibition between the Modern Art Gallery in Istanbul, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Ankara and the Museum of Modern Art in Tel Aviv in 1989. The nineties opened with the exhibition at the American Academy in Rome, which brought together a series of his drawings with some Wall Drawings by Sol lewitt, followed by participation in the XLIV Biennale in Venice with a personal room. Among the art exhibitions in which he takes part in this decade are also the 1990 Sydney Biennale, the 1991 São Paulo Biennale, Prospect '93 at the Kunsthalle Frankfurt 1993, the XII Quadriennale in Rome in 1996. In 2001 he presented a site-specific installation at the Fondazione Volume! in Rome, in which he engages painting in an environmental dimension. In 2002, the Mathildenhöhe Institute in Darmstad dedicated him an important anthological exhibition entitled Das Universum der Geometrie, presented the following year at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Bologna. In 2004 he exhibited in a group exhibition at the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome, in 2005 at the MART in Rovereto and in 2006 in the group exhibition San Lorenzo in Villa Medici, home of the French Academy in Rome.

Walasse Ting (Chinese: 丁雄泉, 13 October 1929 – May 17, 2010)[1] was a Chinese-American visual artist and poet. His colorful paintings have attracted critical admiration and a popular following. Common subjects include nude women and cats, birds and other animals.
He was born on 13 October 1929 in Shanghai, left China in 1946 and lived for a while in Hong Kong, then settled in Paris in 1952.[2] There, he associated with artists such as Karel Appel, Asger Jorn, and Pierre Alechinsky, members of the avant-garde group CoBrA. Ting started his career as an artist in Paris in the 1950s, where he became friends with artists such as Sam Francis and Pierre Alechinsky. His early works were influenced by the CoBrA group, a European art movement known for its use of expressive, childlike imagery. In the 1960s, Ting moved to New York City and became associated with the Pop Art movement. Ting is perhaps best known for his series of paintings featuring women, which he called "Cat Women...
