Cada ejemplar de esta obra consta de un estuche en madera de arce con la reproducción de un original de Miquel Barceló en técnica de pirograbado, una reproducción facsimilar de Cahier de félins propiedad del artista, un libro sobre el descubrimiento de la cueva de Chauvet, y una lámina numerada con la reproducción de uno de los felinos de Cahier.
Edición única, limitada y numerada de Cahier de félins de Miquel Barceló impresa en papel Tintoretto Gesso de 200 gramos. En la cubierta se ha impreso un original realizado en exclusiva por Miquel Barceló. Edición limitada a 2.998 ejemplares, firmados por Miquel Barceló. Ejemplar número 1975.

“El descubrimiento en 1994 de la cueva de Chauvet (Francia) ha resultado ser uno de los grandes acontecimientos de la historia del arte. Las pinturas de Chauvet son equiparables a las de Altamira y Lascaux, pero muy anteriores, con treinta mil años de antigüedad. Hay todavía muy poca bibliografía sobre Chauvet. De ahí el interés excepcional de este libro, que contiene un relato del descubrimiento de la cueva a cargo de sus protagonistas, Eliette Brunel, Jean-Marie Chauvet y Christian Hillaire. Ellos son, también, los autores de las primeras fotografías de la cueva, que reflejan la belleza de las pinturas y su extraordinario estado de conservación. Pocas personas han tenido el privilegio de ver en directo estas pinturas. Entre ellas se cuentan Miquel Barceló y los autores de los textos de este libro.”
