About the Item
Patty deGrandpre’s “Outside In” is an 6.25 x 12.5 inch unique abstract inkjet print represented on 11 x 15.75 inch Awagami Bamboo paper. The mirror image of this double exposed photograph of a tree and grasses becomes a landscape with two distinct sides. The deep yellow green sky and rich sepia grasses are superimposed over a subtle reflection of a light source on the left side. In contrast, on the right side, delicate light blue scenery becomes the setting for a black lawn chair and gives a playful graphic pop to this exquisite print. Patty deGrandpre’s contemporary works have a powerful effect as there are multiple directions the eyes of a viewer can be taken, whether it’s right vs. left or top vs. bottom. Each unique image is printed only once and is signed and dated under the bottom right corner of the image. This print is mounted on 1/4 inch 16 x 20 inch white foam core and will ship in a protective sleeve ready for the frame of your choice. This contemporary landscape would make a striking addition to any modern collection.

Patty deGrandpre
Patty deGrandpre is a New Mexico based artist. She received her BFA in Visual Design at Southeastern Massachusetts University in 1987. Her studio is in her home in Lamy, New Mexico. She has participated in many shows, both juried and invitational, at local, regional and national levels. In addition to three solo exhibitions, she has received accolades and awards over the years in both Fine Art and Printmaking.
