Charles Coleman (1807, Yorkshire - 1874, Roma). Having arrived in Rome from Paris in 1831 to study Italian art, in 1832 she exhibited Giovinetta dressed to the Greek custom at the Exhibition of the Amateur and Cultural Society. Painted landscapes of the Roman countryside and views of Rome, inaugurating a genre that will have wide diffusion in the last years of the 19th century. In 1850 he collected in a volume the series of fifty-three etchings, engraved between 1848 and 1850, related to subjects also treated in painting. Certainly, in contact with N.
