About the Item
This is for the set of both (2) original Boris O'Klein prints, part of his series of the 'dirty dogs of Paris." Both are in very good condition, very difficult to locate in any condition. Printed c. 1938.
L'ALCOOL TUE LENTEMENT print is hand-signed by the artist. L'Alcool Tue Lentement" which means "Alcohol Kills Slowly". In the lower-left it says, "Moi, je m'en fiche! Je ne suis pas presse!" which translates to... "Me, I don't care! I'm not in a hurry!"
The other O'Klein original lithograph is: Esperan que l'amour ne tue pas is signed in the plate. (hope that love does not kill!)
The original size format of each print is 14" x 20.25"; with professional acid-free archival linen backing. This image does have a white border of 1.25" on left and right sides and 3" white border on both the top and bottom. Each image size in the center is: 12.25" x 14 5".
