The work is in full Liberty style and depicts a man, Ulysses surrounded by two figures. The famous sorceress Circe appears on the upper left corner and a second female figure is going to stop him. Ferdinand-Sigismond Bach, known as Ferdinand Bac was a French cartoonist, artist and writer, son of an illegitimate nephew of the Emperor Napoleon.
