This screen-print is a part of series "The Moon, The Sun and so on" which was exhibited in October 2018 at 'Slow Galerie' in Paris. AGNESSAGA (Agnese Tauriņa) is an image-maker working across disciplines such as illustration, graphic design and fine art. She is currently working between Riga and Oxford . AGNESSAGA completed her Graphic Communication bachelors degree at Central Saint Martins in 2016. She takes audience to a sensual and pulsating world. Screen- printing is a signature medium of AGNESSAGA. In her latest series of art prints AGNESSAGA invites to a primordial and blissful space where bodies merge with their lush surroundings and natural rhythms. In her collection of screen-prints AGNESSAGA explores themes of contemplation and sensuality. The aesthetics of the collection has been influenced by Indian philosophy and art - the works include typography in Sanskrit, references to female goddesses and more. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London) in 2016. Agnese has lived and worked in London, Oxford, Paris, Riga, and Jurmala (a scenic seaside resort town by the Baltic Sea).  Agnese finds inspiration in various textual materials - poetry, texts about Indian philosophy and Yoga, classic novels. In her works Agnese explores various themes such as pulsation of life, fragility and power of nature, return to primordial elements, love, sensuality, serenity, and more. AGNESSAGA completed her Graphic Communication bachelors degree at Central Saint Martins in 2016. She takes audience to a sensual and pulsating world.
