About the Item
“The Hollywood Divas” portrays two imaginary actresses belonging to the Hollywood world of the 1950s. The outfits each one wears are characteristic of that environment and era. It is precisely the attire —though also the makeup— that gives them their identity as divas. An identity that refers to the profession, and more specifically, to professional success.
The colors that shape the aesthetic of the piece are vivid
and contrast with the presence of black that constitutes the two figures.
For the creation of this style, I drew inspiration from stained glass windows.
