Extremely rare, original mezzotint engraving, full title "Ritchie's Historical Picture, Death of President Lincoln, Engraved from the Painting by A.H. Ritchie". Alexander Hay Ritchie was a Scottish-American artist and engraver, born Glasgow, Scotland and moved to New York in 1841. He specialized in engravings and mezzotints of historical persons and events, often from his own paintings. Image size: 21 1/4 x 32 inches.
