About the Item

Potter at Work is an original artwork realized by André Desligneres in the first half of the XX Century. Original Xylograph on paper. Numbered on the lower left corner. Edition of 60 prints. Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Passepartout included (cm 51 x 33). Very good conditions. Very interesting genre scene representing a man at work with several big jars. The artwork is characterized by high contrasts between the parts and the figure of the potter is working on a new work. The artwork has been realized by the French artist André Deslingneres (1880 - 1968).
