The color lithographs and black drawings as well as the manuscripts were shot on Fernand Mourlot's presses. Henri Jadoux was the assistant responsible for the project. Inspired by the structural harmony of Paul Cezanne, the tonal poetry of Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, and the color sensibility of the Fauves, he fused traditional realism with a modern sensibility that valued emotion, atmosphere, and simplicity. His landscapes of Provence, Normandy, and the Marne Valley glow with serenity and rhythm, their muted colors and fluid brushwork capturing the balance between light, texture, and mood.
