A striking original poster designed by Andy Warhol for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. Commissioned as part of the official series of Olympic artworks, Warhol’s design captures the energy and dynamism of the games through a vibrant, neon-colored figure of an ice skater set against bold geometric backgrounds.
The composition, executed in Warhol’s unmistakable Pop Art style, merges sports iconography with his celebrated visual language of simplified, high-contrast forms and vivid colors.
