Georges Terechkovitch (1908-1993) was a French artist of Russian origin, recognized for his unique contributions to modern art, especially through his abstract and geometric style. Born in Russia, Terechkovitch moved to France in the early 1920s, where he was influenced by the avant-garde movements of the time, including cubism, surrealism, and abstract expressionism. His early works were inspired by the principles of constructivism, focusing on the exploration of form and color, and he developed a distinctive visual language that combined both organic and geometric shapes.
