About the Item

Mansion is an original etching artwork on paper realized by Ernest Herchez (1870- ?). Hand-signed on the lower right, numbered, edition of 9/30 prints. The State of preservation is very good with some foldings. Sheet dimension: 23 x 36 cm. The artwork represents a beautiful mansion on the background and fences on the front gate, and trees beside fences, through intense black color, skillfully depicted by precise and confident strokes, The artwork characterized by a well-balanced composition masterly applied chiaroscuro effect which enhances the details of the landscape.
