LUDWIK MACIĄG (b. 1920- d.2007) Studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academies of Fine Arts in Cracow and Warsaw. He graduated in 1951. He was a professor and a dean of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw between 1969 and 1972. Author of many book illustrations, posters, postage stamps designs. One of the best contemporary landscape and battle painters. He participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, among others in Germany, Denmark, Spain, Canada, the USA, the Netherlands and in the UK.

Ludwik Maciąg
Ludwik Maciąg studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academies of Fine Arts in Krakówand Warsaw. He graduated in 1951. Maciąg was a professor and a dean of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw between 1969–72. He also authored many book illustrations, posters and postage stamps designs. Maciąg is one of the best contemporary landscape and battle painters. He participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, among others in Germany, Denmark, Spain, Canada, the USA, the Netherlands and in the UK.
