"Figures" is an original woodcut artwork realized in 1969 by Mino Maccari (1898-1989). Hand-signed on the lower right in pencil, dated and numbered on the lower left, edition of 48/48 prints. In excellent conditions: As good as new. This artwork represents a group of men and women in an enjoyable erotic scene, through vivid and bright colors, by confident strokes by congruous and harmonious colors. The artist's efforts indicate the perfect applying of aesthetic features. Mino Maccari (1898-1989): Italian writer, painter, engraver, and journalist, winner of the Feltrinelli Prize for Painting in 1963. For his pictorial work rich in evident chromatic accentuations and quick brushstrokes, the violent drawing combined with the vivid line of the graphic sign of his engravings is recognized by the complete artist criticism.
