The artwork belongs to the "Atlante Generale della Anatomia Patologica del Corpo Umano", by Jean CRUVEILHIER, Florence, Vincenzo Batelli e compagni, 1843. First italian edition of these illustrations, with contemporary colouring. Garrison-Morton: "The fine illustrations of gross pathology make this, one the greatest works of its kind".
