Signed on plate on the lower left margin.
The artwork belongs to the "Atlante Generale della Anatomia Patologica del Corpo Umano", by Jean CRUVEILHIER, Florence, Vincenzo Batelli e compagni, 1843. First italian edition of these illustrations, with contemporary colouring. Garrison-Morton: "The fine illustrations of gross pathology make this, one the greatest works of its kind".
In good conditions except for the paper yellowed by time, with some signs of humidity, that doesn't affect the image.
