LAND OF THE PHAROAHS by the woman artist Robin Morris, is an original limited edition lithograph printed using hand lithography techniques on archival Coventry Rag paper, 100% acid free. LAND OF THE PHAROAHS is a humorous desert expedition scene near the Egyptian pyramids featuring a row of barefoot explorers in safari hats and suits and their camels, walking side by side posed like figures depicted in the ancient Egyptian reliefs. Attractive Neutral Color palette with shades of light golden beige, taupe pink, white, cool brown, light green blue, blue purple, gray, burgundy, and black.
LAND OF THE PHAROAHS brings to mind the top hit pop song "Walk Like An Egyptian" recorded by the American band The Bangles in 1986.
Ms. Morris utilizes her characteristic stylized Art Deco technique in creating portrayals of charming nostalgic recollections of the past with a compelling contemporary look.
