About the Item
Riders is an original mixed colored serigraph realized by Sandro Simeoni, in the second half of XX century.
Good conditions except for some light stains along the margins. Original title: Centauri
Hand signed on the lower right margin by the artist. Numbered on the lower left margin. Ed. 20/XX.
Born in 1928, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Ferrara. He collaborated as a caricaturist in some editorial offices, then in the early 1950s he moved to Rome where in almost fifty years of glorious career he designed movie posters for about 3000 films ("Per Un Pugno Di Dollari", "La Dolce Vita", " Accattone "," Profondo Rosso "," La Grande Abbuffata ", just to name a few!) Collaborating with the major American and Italian film companies. He died in Rome in 2008.
