The relationships between these forms reflect the shifting perceptions experienced during observation. Davidoff frequently explores how scale influences our understanding and appreciation of botanical forms.
Her creative process involves observing, sketching, photographing, and collecting organic forms encountered during walks. These forms serve as the foundational elements of her artwork. The act of walking itself becomes integral to her creative process, and the resulting images symbolize the journey undertaken. Davidoff’s walks range from areas close to her home in the Chihuahuan Desert to more distant locations such as tropical rainforests and alpine meadows.
