Original 1946 NRA gun safety poster 'Does it fit and is it right?' published by the National Rifle Association of America in 1946 and printed on light cardboard, 22 x 14 inches. The comic-style image features the angry face of a man inside a bullet casing with his fists raised. He is looking at the person to make sure that the correct bullets are used for the correct gun. The 1946 NRA poster is part of a series of safety and instructional posters issued by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to promote firearm safety and training. These posters were used primarily for educational purposes, often displayed in shooting ranges, schools, and training facilities to reinforce safe handling practices and responsible gun ownership.
