(Evening in a French Town)

1930, about

About the Item

This evening scene of a couple walking through a French town or neighborhood speaks to quiet romance. It is skillfully carved with printing in both black and grey. It's frustrating not to get the (French) artist's name. Tried 'Larard' or 'Sarard' and a few other versions and couldn't hit on anything right. And then the edition size -- 100? Let's say that's a 'proposed' edition of 100 because this print is certainly not common. In any case it is signed in pencil.
