About the Item
Genre Scenes is a nice set composed of six hand-watercolored lithographs realized by an Italian artist of the XIX century later watercolored, and representing with good technical skills six genre scenes of ordinary life in central Italy of the early XIX century: a popular dance, a fight between peasant women, St. Francesco's sermon, a marriage, the load carrying hay, the bagpipers playing during a popular celebration.
These original prints showing Italian habits and customs are very interesting and are an accurate anthropological study concerning Italic folklore. In excellent conditions.
This artwork is shipped from Italy.
