Original The Navy Wants Men, original antique military poster; size 20" x 30". This rare vintage lithograph is archival linen backed in excellent condition; ready to frame. Original. Linen backed. A condition. "The Navy Wants Men" - a Royal Naval Canadian Volunteer Reserve recruitment campaign poster. Printed in London. Great Britain Admiralty Recruiting Department, [1915] W.H. Smith & Son, Printers, 55 Fetter Lane, London, E.C. This The Navy Wants Men is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed to preserve and protect the poster, and in excellent condition. The poster features a group of Navy sailors in the crow's nest with a handheld telescope looking out onto the horizon. Various flags are flying. An empty white box is where you would place the information on where to recruiting station in your area. There are a few various dates assigned to this poster from 1915 to 1917.
