Supplemental Condition Information: Light moisture damage along right hand edge. Small, light dents along lower edge and left hand margin. Light scuff mark between "SS" in "ROUSSEAU"
Additional Details: This is a unique work by the artist also known as Father Junier's Dog Cart/Uncle Junior's Dog Cart. It was produced to repay a debt to a man he bought vegetables from at the market. He had just acquired a horse that he adored. So, Rousseau used a photograph of the horse to paint this rare composition.
