About the Item

An evocative view of the Church of Santa Maria della Salute, Venice. The image is framed by the stone window and geometric pattern of iron over the window. Signed and numbered from the edition of 100. Engraver, sculptor and painter, Edo Janich was born in Valvasone in 1943. He began very young to draw and paint, and today boasts about 450 etching slabs made for the most famous Italian art publishers. As a sculptor he realized, for the Church San Pietro in Bagheria, in the province of Palermo, the bronze cycle of the Via Crucis and the furnishings. He has held numerous personal exhibitions both in Italy and abroad.
