About the Item
An original poster realized by J.M Fonteneau to promote the Alcazar, a restaurant located at number 62 of the street Mazarine in the 6th district in Paris.
This place was occupied in the XVIIth century by a game of paume. Jean-Marie Rivière, future presenter of the Paradis Latin, and Marc Doelnitz opened a cabaret there in 1968 where they proposed transformist shows and "feathered" reviews and which they named "Alcazar".
