Fountain of the Four Rivers is a contemporary artwork realized in 1970 by the Italian artist Giuseppe Malandrino (Modica, 1910 - Rome, 1979).

Refined work that depicts one of the most famous and interesting places in Rome: Piazza Navona. The work is a refined etching with a delicate line. The work was created by Giuseppe Malandrino (Modica, 1910 - Rome, 1979). Malandrino was an active
protagonist of the 20th century, a dreamer who was able to transform his artistic projects into reality. Giuseppe Malandrino experiences art in its authentic meaning of the search for beauty, of adherence to reality, of continuous experimentation towards new
expressive forms. After leaving Modica, he moved to Rome, where he frequented the studio of Giacomo Balla who made his debut in the I Great Futurist Art Exhibition that Filippo Tommaso Marinetti set up in Piazza Adriana.

Giuseppe Malandrino
Giuseppe Malandrino was born in Modica, Italy, in 1910. Portrait painter, landscape painter, all-round artist, Malandrino became interested in his Roman youth sojourn also in photography, cinema. After leaving his native village, Malandrino moved to Rome, where he attended Giacomo Balla's studio and began a series of exhibitions that made him known throughout the world.
